The drums sound weirdly low and roomy.

If the drums don't sound like you heard it in videos or in our audio samples, there is probably an issue with the Sampling Rate setting in your DAW. Open your DAWs audio device settings and make sure that the sampling rate is at least at 44100 hz.

In Sonar and Cakewalk you can find this setting by going to
Edit -> Preferences -> Driver Settings -> Sampling Rate
