I get the error message: "MTPDK can't be installed because its digital signature is invalid."

This error message is known to occur on Mac OS 10.11.6 and prevents the installation from continuing. As a solution, just download our "unsigned" version of the installer, which you can find below. After downloading and unpacking it, you will have to open it with a right click and then select "Open".
